She will fight it and I would think sure she will win. The idiot that gave it to her saw that a plastic grocery bag was containing what she deposited and Assumed is was garbaje.

I hope the judge rips her a new one for wasting his time.

hb-TK- we've got the trash 'police'-the schools questioning students on activities in their homes (http://sherriequestioningall.blogspot.com/2010/12/is-govt-trying-to-find-out-who-has-what.html)- -the TSA- highway cameras and on and on-it smacks of Orwelll's 1984-and it creeps me out because I dot think very many others 'see' it--am I wrong?

Fabianist CS Fabianist.
Technology is their thing. Orwell's 1984 was their 100 year celebration of seeing the innovations they dreamed up come true. Yes most of the fore thought in the book-we thought, was really in the labs. Working the bugs out, when the desk top computers were refined would have brought joy to Orwell. Even though he knew everything he wrote about was a bit premature-it was to happen.
Orwell was a Fabian.

Crazy isn't it.

We have the same sort of rules here, recycling bins and all that crap, we're supposed to sort our trash into separate bins.

Screw that, i throw it all into the same bin, screw the nannying jerks.

Carol, you're not wrong. The way I see it, Orwell was a genius. He simply projected the path of society to it's logical destination.

Meaning I don't think there was actually a concerted effort to pry into our lives and micro-manage so much. It is simply the natural progression of America's reaction to criminality for example. In the fight to stop crime, government gets ever better at peering into our lives.
Seeing that health care becomes insanely expensive for a number of reasons, the least of which being trial lawyers, this path could also be anticipated.

But we're about there.

A few more things that could make it happen are:
government run health care would immediately lead to penalizing those seen as having unhealthy stats or lifestyles, or eating habits, etc.
Genetics analysis causes government regulation on whom you are allowed to conceive with.
You see where I'm going. The story could then EASILY read word for word, 1984.

And yes, SO many have not the slightest clue.
