Marcus Luttrell-Lone Survivor Author Has a -New Book-SERVICE- Credits the Lord -

 I respected this brave man after reading his book- when it came out- Lone Survivor- and I will be purchasing his new book- Service--

There is a dilemma here that should elicit a lot of discussion among thinking adults. Now as it happens, putting in a team to take out an insurgent leader is how we should be fighting this war (if we have to fight it at all in Afghanistan and Pakistan), as opposed to sending unmanned aircraft to blow up entire villages of goatherds. (You may have heard this on AOW’s radio program yesterday). Having said that, there is plenty of room in the scenario to argue with the decision offered by Lieutenant Murphy. I wasn’t there, so of course, I cannot know more than what I’ve read about it. My inclination would be to give up those Afghans before I gave up my team …

The question remains: where do we find such stellar men?

Having read Marcus' book and having listened to him speak at events- via the internet- the PC RoEs are what led to Murphy's decision-
In fact- Marcus - at one speaking engagement- had the book of the RoEs with him in his pocket- - and patted his pocket -saying - and I paraphrase-'these are what killed my team'--
If it had been me- I would have left them tied- taken them -or 'accidentally' let them fall down that mountain--

I loved the movie hun but the man who plays the Muzlim in real life ia a rabid anti semite..UGH!! Happy Weekend my friend.!:-)

and a sad fact- 2 of my dear Jewish friends twice voted for - the anti semite- b Hussein o--I just shook my head when they told me--
