The Department of Defense announced the death of CPT Pedersen-Keel of South Miami, Fla. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.

CPT Pedersen-Keel was killed by small arms fire when a Afghan policeman opened fire on US and Afghan forces inside a police headquarters in eastern Afghanistan. He was reportedly one of two U.S. special operations forces and two Afghan policemen killed in Wardak province. The other soldier killed was Staff Sgt. Rex L. Schad, 26, of Edmond, Okla.

My Take: CPT Pedersen-Keel and Staff Sgt. Schad were murdered by a supposed ally - one whom they probably helped train or - at least one they  were told to trust!--

HAITI (WordNews.org) Feb. 28, 2013 – Brian Walsh, a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy, is heading to Haiti on a mission trip with members of a Christian group at West Point.
Walsh will be in Haiti from March 8-17, during spring break, with 20 cadets to work with Nehemiah Vision Ministries.
“We will be reaching out and spreading the Gospel through ministering and evangelizing while helping children, families and communities meet their basic needs,” Walsh said. That includes manual labor, such as rebuilding villages and homes.
Word News caught up with Walsh recently to find out more about the mission trip:
How did you get involved in the work going on in Haiti?

 SCJ -A. Scalia - I had read -in the past -that some of our supposed "Conservative" Judges were waffling on certain issues important issues (like abortion) and this article on gun control proves it!

"But in Heller, Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority, went out of his way to say the Second Amendment does not prohibit the government from banning certain types of weapons, or imposing other restrictions."

My question -Judge- if you can ban one --is that not the nose of the camel- stuck into the tent- to give the government the 'right' to ban another and another and another!!?
