This all commenced with an EU court ruling, in favor of a Finnish immigrant in Italy, that her children should not be in a public class room setting with crucifixes.
As per the Lateran Treaty of '29 and the Italian Constitution, Italy is officially a Catholic country.
Both the Vatican and the State of Italy are on record as appealing this gross decision...even some secular, left wing parties (trying to triangulate and curry favor to win back power in future elections) are on board as to denouncing this occurence.
CE-thank - you thank you for the further up-date-- I do not have Facebook-nor Twitter- my friends have been 'talking' :-) to me about staying up w/ the times..should I set up an account?
HB- You are so right!!and there have been several women who have 'put their toe to the line' and not backed off-- including the defenders at Ft Hood...
Now that's what you call a lively debate. Nice to hear that woman call islam's prophet for what he really is.
I'm not really one for repetitive ranting, but when your opponents are so blind to reality, so pig-headed, what else can you do, but shout the truth at them.
Mk I agree! I also am no longer totally following alinsky's rule # 5 'make the enemy (Christians ) follow their own rules' being PC and -NICE - has gotten us into this mess....
Alinsky's rule #5 only works if the enemy is allowed to define what is good then hold Christians to that definition. Under their PC rules for Christianity, Christ himself was not Christ-like.
This looks like U.S. news when there is a conservative in the mix to shout down and talk over, which is why I no longer watch much news. This Muslim must buy into the free-speech American style where intelligent debate is yelled down and talked over.
Dan-you are so right- that is why I read Rules for Radicals--I wanted to know how the Dark Side thinks --and the fact that Alinsky gave honor to Lucifer made it clear ... Jesus wasn't NICE and I'm not going to be either-=anymore...

That's a pretty tough gal. I wouldn't mess with her.
