I think the results of this project was applied to the modern day "harrier jets" that can take off and land vertically.

As usual, it is an interesting topic, Carol. Some argue that our government “reengineered” alien technologies. They say that what we see today in terms of highly advanced technology is a result of those efforts. What we don’t yet see is what we haven’t been able to understand. It is a plausible explanation of significant leaps forward in technology … advances which make no other sense. And then, at about the same time these technological advances began, the Air Force haled their “Operation Blue Book” investigations.

As I said: interesting.

I think the UFO's that were spotted back in those days were experimental vehicles by us and the Russians.

They've either progressed to the point that we can't spot them anymore, or the project is shelved.

I wouldn't bet either way, but I do believe it is entirely possible we've got stuff no one knows about. The cutting edge is never common knowledge.

JW- I agree- I believe there are more technological advances than are being revealed--and I am glad of it--thank you for your insights-

K-always appreciate your take- as- it generally matches mine--
and some with whom I com in contact - the 'eye roll' with my ideas---

Z-You too! : -)
We must limit them to a chosen few- as- you and I both know -- most of the drivers on the Ventura would not be qualified to pilot one these is a safe manner!

You have drones instead, safer, cheaper and more lethal.
