An actual Drive Through the Battle Fields of Gettysburg---150 Years Ago-=--Fantastic Photos of Re-enactment!!!

 You are going to love this--I just happened to seek a site that I have had on my roll for a long time- and hardly ever click-He has a drive through of the battle grounds of Gettysburg w/ commentary and written history..over the video -Clay to Bronze--I will be clicking here more often! Carol, that is mind boggling. Outside of the cannons, I think you have people shooting at each other from 50-100 yds away. Then lots of hand to hand.

We may have another one of these. If we do, I hope we join up and take out DC first.

PS - look for the markets to head down in the July-August time frame.

PPS - FLSR has been mentioned a lot as the best of breed lately. Still worth it from a long term, but wait until fall.

You may be interested in reading the book, Gettysburg: The Last Invasion, by Allan C. Guelzo. He is a professor at Gettysburg College. He provides a very interesting "take" on the battle, incorporating the politics and philosophy of what happened there.
