Which is really more awesome--- the corner 7/11 in the U.S. or the 'great pyramids' in Egypt?
It's time for us in the U.S. to 'get a grip' and look through the historical 'map' with eyes to see the wonders of free market and the results of FREEDOM to experiment and explore...

It's entirely valid and telling isn't it.
I often laugh at some on TV harking back to the old days of foreign cultures. I saw a british chef touring america the other day extolling the virtues of red indian life and cuisine. An australian fellow did the same a while ago about eskimos.
Naturally these are progressives, my answer to them is they can go and live there if they want, which incidentally they never do. I'll take running water, electricity and civilization thanks.
