You who frequent my site know how concerned I am about the PC at West Point (and the other military academies.)..It looks like there is some rumbling going on :

"Found" this at  Republican Mother-
Highly decorated-Maj. General Butler (USMC)-War IS A Racket-
Remember-Washington -first Pres of US -admonished us in the US to avoid foreign entanglements
The more I study- the more I know that there is BIG $$$ in war- and the ones making BIG $$$ - would not pick up the 'sword of war' themselves- nor would they accept the paltry salary 'given' to our BEST-

Veterans Throw their MEDALS back - toward the NATO conference-

I read most of that article, I think it's a good thing to be questioning policy and military strategy. I have more suspicions when it's politicians doing questioning because they always have ulterior motives.

I should add that it's a good thing when the military is doing this as that is how they learn and improve at their job which is warfare.

It's also my belief that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have not been successful in the traditional sense of victory and defeat because of leadership failings and not military failings.the political class and the people back home don't know how to fight this war and in many ways don't want to really end it.

Thanks for the highlight.

I would also like to add that way back around 1910, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace came to the conclusion that nothing would change a society as quickly as war. This came out in the Reece Committee hearings of 1953. We've been in perpetual war ever since then - either planning another one or in later years, deliberately dragging them out.

The NSA admits the Gulf of Tonkin never happened!!

War may be a racket in many cases, but no one can deny that there is evil in the world, ready, willing, able and already executing their agenda, and who must be stopped, potentially through war.

You know I'm talkin about muslims right?

This is a comment I made at Let Them Fight or Bring Them Home:
I want our BEST out of un declared (Constitutionally) "wars" where there is no expectation of victory!
C-CS
RWT- & K-10 years - and what have we got- our BEST murdered by those they train- -
K- muslims is right- our first war as a new Republic- was against the muslims (Barbary Pirates)-we paid trubute to the tune of 20% of our GDP so they would not take US citizens- Jefferson finally said enough and sent the new Navy and Marines (shores of Tripoli)-
It is time we got out of the mid east-Paki-Saudi-Afgh-et al-
Bring our BEST home-drill our own oil!
RM-"Gulf of Tonkin never happened "the govt does lie to us -doesn't it!

Foreign Aid is the new word for Tribute-

A lot of people don't know the history of the Muslims, specifically how intelligence agencies have used for the purposes of doing their dirty work.
Al Qaeda was working with the US in Libya and was airlifted to continue its work in Syria. Blowing up stuff and blaming Assad. Then you find out that Anwar Al-awlaki was having lunch with brass at the Pentagon after 9/11 and then you had that slew of terror incidents connected with him in the years following.
With each one (like the underwear bomber) people in Homeland and Defense (like Michael Chertoff) made millions selling naked body scanners. The money to be made is huge- billions in contracts.
And let me tell you, they consider our soldiers dirt under their feet, judging by how they get treated when they come home. Billions in the budget, but nothing to take care of these soldiers properly. It's a disgrace.

R-" Billions in the budget, but nothing to take care of these soldiers properly. It's a disgrace."

it is a disgrace and a betrayal-
Don't know how we are going to take our Freedom / Republic back-

RM, I agree. No respect. But still, in all of this filth are still some crazed mofo's who are out to do serious harm in the name of a long hair and a beard child molester.

People make money with everything that goes on in life. It's a constant. There still is evil to deal with.

Carol, and RM. So there's clarity, Yes we need to get out of Afghanistan.

How many more of our sons and daughters will be murdered there. For Nothing. There is no goal there anymore. Nothing to gain - only loss. Democrats have Always used the military as toy political soldiers. Much more so than the repubs. Not that I care for repubs. I'll stop here.

K-thank you for your clarification-
I have little respect for the republicans and none for the democrats.
