U.S. Air Force Hymn:
Lord, guard and guide the men who fly
Through the great spaces of the sky;
Be with them traversing the air
In darkening storms or sunshine fair
Thou who dost keep with tender might
The balanced birds in all their flight
Thou of the tempered winds be near
That, having thee, they know no fear
Control their minds with instinct fit
What time, adventuring, they quit
The firm security of land;
Grant steadfast eye and skillful hand
Aloft in solitudes of space,
Uphold them with Thy saving grace.
O God, protect the men who fly
Thru lonely ways beneath the sky.
Amen

Nice
SR-thank you-yours --have a great Memorial Day...
My dad was Air Force all throughout my upbringing. So I appreciate this one!
Most of those who serve develop a sense of knowing that God is their Protector.
Ever read The Screwtape Letters? Interesting perspective on war in that the devil isn't thrilled with war, after all, because so many come to Christ when they face combat and their own mortality.
A blessed Memorial Day to you!
AS - My Uncle was Army-Air Corps and then AF--flew P-38s ...
