Does anyone remember the passenger jet that 'mysteriously' went down over NY before 9/11 -pilot said he saw a missile - like streak--pooh poohed by MSM and government--
There have been several other 'incidents ' that were pooh -poohed as the rantings of the 'right wing'...

It looks like large scale attacks will be reluctantly acknowledged as terrorist attacks, but individual or small group attacks (or attempts) will be either pooh-poohed as you have said, expressed as an isolated incident that had no part of a larger scheme, or the person was just UPSET religiously and politically.
Bryan-Sad isn't it---The fact that people so quickly 'go to sleep' again and again is un-nerving...
