Thank You General-President George Wahington--West Point Statue....




Statue of George Washington was sculpted by Henry Kirke Brown and unveiled in 1916. The statue formerly was located across the Plain from its current location. The statue is located in front of Washington Hall (the Cadet dining facility) and centered on the Plain. The coordinates are located on the walkway which crosses the Plain and is at a distance from the statue however is the closest public access to the monument which is located to the southwest.
