Sadly - my brother is an perfect example of the "bitterness" of which Bill Whittle speaks. We would safe in calling him a Socialist if not outright Communistic in his thinking.

Ok - that sentence barely makes sense and I'm too tired right now to fix it. You get the drift ;-)

...and further more - we have a "Friendship Kitchen" at our church and have had for probably 20 years. They serve dinner every Thursday. I've helped out on occasion. They same people have been coming for years and their major claim to fame is complaining. It's free and they complain. Are we really doing these people a service? Really? They're not disabled or crazy. They're just living large on our dime.

At least the Union Gospel Mission in downtown Spokane deals with the real down and outs. They also make them listen to a gospel message.

Ok - rant over. I really need to get to bed earlier tonight. heh

A-my Lutheran Church has had a food pantry for years-+ clothing etc-
one day I took bags full of 'stuff' w/ the help of my - then- young son-
he looked at the 'poor' folks' vehicles and cell phones and said-
"Mom-they have newer cars and SUVs and better cell phones than you do..."
From the mouths of babes---I got the message-
