You know, I also wish he'd mentioned something else (tho this wasn't the topic of his talk!): I KNOW someone whose brother's being severely mistreated stateside in the army by his female commander, and who has to drive his own car on military business and not get reimbursed AND who says they can't do shooting practice anymore because there's no ammo because there's no money (where'd those billions of dollars of ammo that HS bought GO?), and who's at his wit's end and becoming another person, according to his brother, THAT is another reason they're committing suicide. If I know one, imagine how many there ARE?
The media'd like to have us believe it's PTSD so we can all hate war even more but we're treating them POORLY and they are sorely suffering..with nowhere to go. Just STUCK. Or AWOL...and that's a big reason for the suicides.

It makes me angry-to know that our BEST are being treated so poorly--and that they being "hand-cuffed" by the new RoEs and that they are not being paid for the incidentals - looks like their medical is in jeopardy too!

An Army master sergeant was punished after he hosted a promotion party and served Chick-fil-A sandwiches in honor of the Defense of Marriage Act. The unidentified soldier was investigated, reprimanded, threatened with judicial action and given a bad efficiency report, according to the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty.
