Remember Driving a Powerful Car That Didn't TALK to You?!!

Enough of the serious business of the world and let's get into a REAL car!
Remember when you had to think in order to drive? No anti-lock brakes-no map system-no-THING telling you what to do and acting on its own if YOU do not 'obey'...
When I purchased my Lexus-I told the guy that I wanted to drive the car I would buy-I wanted to feel how it reacted off the 'die' and I DID NOT Want it to talk to me...
The car I am about to share w/ you has everything you always wanted and can not have because of government control - unless you have $322,900.00 (-:
Thank you for the tip-SM

Nice car ey.

I didn't know you drove a Lexus. out these parts, that's rich folks cars. Wish i could get me a Lexus. I'm partial to the GS.

Sometimes i visit the used car sites, just to look at em and dream a little.

got one in 2003-it was less expensive than my '89 Volvo - I purchase cars that last a long time- don't like to re-learn the 'feel' and can tell instantly if anything is wrong,.
I have had only 4 cars in my life ..my '76 International Scout II is still my favorite - miss her :-)

Carol CS -- Love my MKX (Lincoln, no less). However, the first time I saw that Noble on Top Gear, I must admit I thought to myself, "what, Jeremy Clarkson wouldn't choose that Ferrari?" However, seeing the piece a second time, I realize it's about the little bloke as giant killer. (plus, your piece on "commoners" reflects that sentiment as well.)

You know how L.A. is car capitol? Well, at my favorite Coffee Bean, I've seen both the Lexus LFA and the Bugatti. Unreal the money spent in SoCal on cars ...

ah, yes, i remember this show well. and, it is NEVER wrong or tacky to link back to one's own site -- especially one as pithy as yours, Carol! Thanks for the great comments, and for even reading word one of my pabulum. ;)
