1895 Eighth Grade Test--Our Ed System Has Been Dumbed Down...

Did your 8th grade education give you the where with all to answer all of the questions in the 1895 8th grade test?-- Mine did not -- and my education was considered excellent!
Now- according to the statistics- we have 2/3rds of the 8th graders in Wisconsin who cannot read...the reason I bring up WI is because the union activity there makes them fair game!!

TK- doesn't surprise me--small minds always deflect from their own short-comings...

It's called PROJECTION in psychology 101.

Lenin put it this way when he explained the Communist art of propaganda, "Accuse others of what you are."

CS:

Thank you for thanking me on the re-posting at my blog.

I graduated with a BA in history from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with Honors in 1984, but I think I'd have "bone up" to pass that 1895 8th Grade examination.

One thing is for certain: This test is the best comment on how far American educational standards have fallen over the years.
