Dad-can I work the motor and drive the boat?---
Dad-I think I got one---
Dad was 'close to the vest' - after 4 years in the Pacific-WWII--
He always treated his daughters and sons equally--fishing - baseball-shooting--and O K !-mowing the lawn with the rotary mower!! - we kids didn't have to go to the gym to stay in shape---house-hold and out-door chores kept us in shape!!
