I think he is early in this, tho the idea has merit. I'd have waited until the city was squeezed a lot more.

Specifically, how can the city charge much of a property tax for property that literally won't sell for 10 cents for the entire lot.

K-my thoughts exactly--
before buying-check to make sure the taxes are not still arbitrary- which has been the case in MI- they have not Prop 13--
