She's spot-on. If anything, she should be admired for her accomplishments not slammed for it.

Well, we're going in the wrong direction there ! :)

I guess it's always been an 80/20 situation as it is with most things.

20% are over-achievers, 80% some version of not but most of them also there is nothing 'wrong' with. Most of my life, we didn't want to take what the rich had, we only wanted to opportunity to make it ourselves.
That concept seems to have morphed heavily into a want to take situation.

In fairness, I have to ask where are people going to work after clinton threw us cold turkey into the global economy, translated as shipping an excessive amount of jobs to China, India, Mexico...

Companies are work opportunities when I was a kid, and believe me the jobs weren't plentiful then either, simply don't exist today. Small to medium manufacturing and supporting industries simply don't exist anymore.

Tough situation. Not sure I could even suggest an answer outside of protectionism type policies, which translated means putting heavy tariffs on imports so American companies can compete again.

Not sure how that would work out.

L- I would love to meet her - how about you! She is spot on!

K-I often wonder it there are any US companies left- except small entrepreneurial companies- I can not think of any--and the gvt is doing its best to get rid of those---

I'm not giving up though---

Happy Patriots' day L and K!!!!
